Kacstone Record’s has reinforced its commitment to educational development by donating 15 hexagonal desks to the Paga English and Arabic Primary School in the Kassena-Nankana West District to support early childhood education and improve learning conditions for young pupils.
The donation, which is expected to benefit approximately 90 kindergarten pupils, forms part of the company’s ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts aimed at creating conducive learning environments and supporting quality education in underserved communities.
The furniture donation was made in response to an appeal from the school, which had been facing a longstanding shortage of appropriate desks for its kindergarten learners. The situation had affected teaching and learning, while also impacting enrolment and retention among pupils.
Presenting the desks on behalf of the Managing Directors of Kacstone Record’s, Michael Adangba and Wenawome Duriyem Aborah, company representative Mohammed Issah Abakuri reiterated the organisation’s belief that education remains one of the most important investments any society can make.
“At Kacstone Record’s, we believe that every child deserves a comfortable and supportive environment in which to learn and grow. We are not defined by the size of our resources but by the impact we can make in the lives of people. Children are our future leaders, and supporting their education is a responsibility we all share,” he said.
Mr. Abakuri noted that the company was moved to act after learning that many kindergarten pupils were studying under challenging conditions due to inadequate furniture. He expressed the hope that the intervention would not only improve learning outcomes but also inspire individuals, philanthropists, and corporate organisations to contribute towards educational development in their communities.
He further emphasized that while government continues to invest in education, meaningful progress requires collaboration among stakeholders, including private sector organisations and community members.
The Headmaster of the school, Alhassan Bukari, expressed appreciation to Kacstone Record’s for responding promptly to the school’s appeal. According to him, the lack of suitable furniture had made learning difficult for many kindergarten pupils, particularly as they were at a critical stage of developing foundational writing and literacy skills.
The donation is expected to significantly improve classroom participation, comfort, and learning outcomes while helping to create a more attractive environment for enrolment and retention.
